Area Guide Cala Nova / Port Calanova
Cala Nova is located next to the marina in the town of Cas Catala in the San Agustín neighbourhood, on the west coast of Mallorca. It has a lovely small sandy beach next to the entrance jetty of the marina. The area where the Cala Nova beach is located is next to residential buildings and some hotels and you can find various cafes, restaurants and small local shops.
Port Calanova is a modern marina, centre for water sports and a National Sailing School located beside Cala Mayor. It’s a 10-minute drive from the centre of Palma and has a car park. The terrace and chill out lounge of Nova del Mar, at the entrance of the port, is a seductive spot for cocktails overlooking the waterfront.
